- Am I eligible to purchase Mobile Phone Insurance?Eligibility for this insurance is subject to the following conditions:
- Your mobile phone was purchased new in Australia.
- Your mobile phone is in working order with no known faults at the time of purchase of this insurance product.
- You are a permanent resident of Australia.
- What is a smart phone?For the purpose of this insurance a smart phone is defined as:
- Apple iPhone
- Blackberry
- HTC
- Samsung Galaxy S
- What is the premium cost?$159.00 (including GST and stamp duty) per annum
- What am I protected against?
- Accidental Damage
- Mechanical and Electrical Breakdown
- Theft
- Unauthorised Calls associated with a valid theft claim

- What types of policies and payment options are available?Only One policy type is available:
12 months cover, purchased and paid online. Alternatively you can call us on 02 8399 1838 to arrange cover and payment over the phone
- Can I renew my policy at the expiry of the 12 months cover?Yes, subject to the underwriting criteria applicable at that time
- Are there any claims limits?Yes, the insurer's maximum limit of liability for any one claim shall be up to $5000.00 (inclusive of GST) and $1250 for unauthorised call associated with a valid theft claim.
- How soon can I make a valid claim?Provided that you are eligible for this insurance and your policy has been paid in full, you can make a claim anytime after the 14 day no claim period has expired.
- Is there an Excess?Yes, an excess of $125.00 applies to each and every claim.
- Can I cancel and get a full refund?Providing you inform us with twenty (20) days of inception of this policy and have not made a claim we will refund your payment in full.
